Hi there!

I’m Catherine! I’m a recent Boston transplant from the deep South. I’ve called Mississippi and Louisiana home my entire life, but I love the different culture and climate of New England. I’m so lucky to be a wedding photographer. I get to spend a couple’s most special day creating memories for them to relive again and again. I can’t wait to get to know you and hear your love story.

I LOVE ...

My dog

My dalmatian, Penny, is my angel. I got her when I was a sophomore in college and she was 10 weeks old. We've grown so much together, and she's far more attached to Josh now than to me. She's the calmest, laziest dog you'll ever meet. She sleeps in until noon if she can, always needs a comfy place to rest her bum, and gives very rare but treasured kisses.

Traveling

When I'm not photographing weddings during my offseason, I plan trips in the U.S. and around the world. In the past few years, I've traveled to Greece, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and all over the states. Travel to me means going from restaurant to restaurant, interrupted by the occasional museum or scenic walk. My travel bucket list includes Mexico, Argentina, Alaska, Japan, England and Ireland.

Food

It's weird to label food as an interest or hobby, but I love dining out and trying new foods so much. If I wasn't a photographer, I'd be a chef. Food is it's own art form, with finer ingredients and methods and skill. I love swapping notes about favorite restaurants, best dishes on a menu and new places to try. Between the finest restaurants and the diviest taco shacks, I love eating the best food I can find. (Pictured is a Pimm's Cup - my favorite cocktail!)

Art & Architecture

I am so inspired, especially on wedding days, by the art and architecture of a space. That's one reason I'm so drawn to photograph at historic estates and mansions. Old World architecture creates such a romantic environment and an easy backdrop for wedding portraits.

My boyfriend, friends and family

I'm wrapping a lot of people into one category here, but it would take pages to describe how much Josh, my family and friends have inspired and encouraged me. I wouldn't have a successful business today without them, and I feel so lucky every day to be surrounded by so much support.

My Job

How lucky am I to photograph weddings for a living? Every day of work is the best day of someone's life. I get to document memories for families and create tangible evidence of lives well-lived. Reach out and tell me your love story!
