Boston Common Engagement
Olimpio and Sarah are two of the most genuine people I have worked with. I met them at a bridal show in Ipswich and I was so pumped when Olimpio emailed me right after the show to book me. He said they loved my photojournalistic style and my not-too-invasive approach to portraits. We decided on Boston Common and Beacon Hill as our engagement session locations for the area’s versatility and charm. The best parts of the sessions were when I ask them to dance together and just ignore me – these two are amazing dancers! See below for a little mambo in a Beacon Hill alley! We ended the engagement session on a beautiful little stoop. I noticed a man walking his dog was waiting to pass, and I finally figured out that the stoop we were shooting on was his stoop! He was quick to reassure us that we were fine, and that many, many engaged and married couples have posed on his steps for their photos. I guess it’s a right of passage for the engaged of Boston!
Coming to the blog soon, Olimpio and Sarah’s wedding at Ipswich Country Club, which had me dancing around the place trying to keep up! So fun!!
